The Teacher's Circle could not provide its programs without the generous support of individuals and organizations who believe that investing resources in middle school math teachers is an important, but largely neglected, avenue to enhancing mathematics education in the United States today. We are indebted to the American Institute of Mathematics, which hosted the 2006-2007 summer workshop. Their support made it possible to launch The Teacher's Circle on schedule by providing a meeting site, lodging, meals, and further support for participants. We are also supported by the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, which sponsored the excellent educators who taught at the summer program and helped to publicize the program. We are grateful to Kiran Kedlaya for including The Teacher's Circle in his CAREER grant. As a result, the National Science Foundation will sponsor the academic year portion of this program. We also extend our thanks to San Jose State University, which will offer college credit to qualifying participants. Finally, we wish to thank Steve Zucker for his generous support and the Art of Problem Solving Foundation for managing funds.

In order to fully fund the 2006-2007 program or continue to offer mathematical opportunities to teachers in future years we are in need of additional support. To make a tax-deductible donation to The Teacher's Circle, please contribute through the Art of Problem Solving Foundation. You may mail a check using their donation form or use your credit card on-line; see the instructions at their site. (Remember to type “The Teacher's Circle” in the Designation blank.) Please do not make checks payable to “The Teacher's Circle.” Thank-you for helping to provide this invaluable resource to middle school math teachers.
